Staff
The Staff is made up of one Licensed Veterinary Technician, two vet students, five undergraduate students, and one brand new receptionist! We enjoy helping you care for your pets.
- Kristy
- Kristy is our office manager. She has one dog and three cats. She also works in large animal at VMRCVM.
- Keri
- Keri moved to Blacksburg in Aug ’07 and also works at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic. She came to us from an emergency medicine practice in Virginia Beach. This summer she participated in an eagle research project.
- Shannon
- Shannon is a veterinary student at VMRCVM expecting to graduate in 2012. She shares her home with her fiancé Wes, cats Chloe and Oliver, and German Shepherd Cody.
- Cathryn
- Cathryn is a senior student at VT, member of Block and Bridle, recently brought home “Clyde” her corgi puppy, projected graduation in Dec. ‘09
- Zachary
- Zachary is a student at VT, with a projected graduation of May ’09. He loves spending time with his tuxedo cat — Mojo.
- Heather
- Heather is a student at VT, with a projected graduation of May ’09. She plans to apply to veterinary school.
- Kelly
- Kelly is a student at New River Community college. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding and playing with her rabbit and snake.
- Rebecca
- Rebecca is a student at VT who will graduate May 2011. One of her hobbies is playing piccolo in the Marching Virginians.
- Sheryl
- Sheryl has worked with us since Summer ’04. She is a veterinary student at VMRCVM with a projected graduation May 2011. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Randy and their three dogs and two cats.
- Amanda
- Amanda is our very first receptionist! We welcome Amanda to the practice. She has organized the first annual pet parade at summer solstice. When she's not at work, she enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs and 4 cats.
