Beyond the Basics
Fecal samples – can be tested for parasites
Urine samples – are routinely tested for crystals, stones, and infection
Radiography – If your pet is injured or the doctor needs to further evaluate it with films, radiographs can be taken in house to aid in diagnosing internal or skeletal problems
Blood testing – samples can be taken and tested in-house for surgical patients and ill pets
Diabetes Management – routine care for diabetic animals, management of the disease, stabilizing and normalizing newly diagnosed diabetic pets.
Prescription foods – NMSAC carries Purina prescription foods. Ask a staff member if there is a need for a prescription diet for your pet.
Prescriptions – antibiotics, pain, behavior, arthritis, deworming
Chronic problems – Newly added Laser therapy may be right for your pet!
Health certificates – Dr. Dallman is certified to issue both international & domestic certificates. It is important to plan ahead when travelling. Please contact the office to see what is involved when moving or traveling with your pets.
Referrals when necessary – If your pet’s needs cannot be met by our staff, you may be referred to the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine for further diagnostics and specialty medical care or Town and Country for overnight intensive care.
